1873 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. No arrows. PCGS graded Proof 64 Cameo. Lovely rainbow toning around the edges. The surfaces have a bright, metallic, mirror-like sheen glinting through the toning. No need to worry about an unsuccessful strike left by the rebound of the dies that coined this, either, since even a cursory examination of the lovely Proof reveals nice clarity of detail, including the star centers and both shields. Only 540 Proofs minted. Pop 11; 6 finer, 4 in 65, 1 in 66, 1 in 67 (PCGS # 85572) .
Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,600.

1877-CC Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. ANACS graded MS-63. Lightly toned around the edges. This lustrous example is one from an obverse die where the two 7s in the date are double-punched. An impressive-looking variety (but collected and valued as if it were merely a regular CC-mint 1877, so a bonus for the astute buyer).
Estimated Value $375 - 400.

Lot 819
1886 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64. Housed in an old green holder. A nice white coin with a cameo effect, the fields smooth with glittering Proof surface. Only 886 Proofs struck in something of a coincidence since the date is also 1886. Pop 56; 68 finer, 32 in 65, 25 in 66, 11 in 67 (PCGS # 5587) .
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,050.
